Sawmill chips
The major part of our by-products are made into sawmill chips, also known as cellulose chips. Sawmill chips are the basis of pulp manufacture but are also used in energy production.
Prospective customers: the pulp industry, power stations, heating plants.
Sawdust
Sawdust is the main raw material used to produce fuel pellets and particle board (chipboard). The high quality of the sawdust makes it eminently suitable for burning and producing energy. Prospective customers: pellet and briquette manufacturers, power stations, heating plants.
Wood shavings
A large part of our production is further refined by planing, where shavings are produced as a by-product. The shavings can be used to produce pellets or as stable litter for animal owners. Prospective customers: pellet and briquette manufacturers, animal owners.
Fuel chips
Fuel chips are a mix of chips and bark that is used by power stations and heating plants to produce energy. Prospective customers: power stations, heating plants.
Pulp wood
When forests are cleared or thinned and trees felled, it is not only logs and small sawtimber that are produced, but also pulp wood. Pulp wood is made from parts of trees that for some reason are not suitable for making planks and boards. Prospective customers: the pulp industry.
RT-chips
RT-chips are made from tree branches, roots and tops (GROT) and clearing waste. The branches, roots and tops are by-products that result from felling. To obtain the best possible energy value, they are stacked to self-dry, which reduces the moisture content. RT-chips are generally produced where the trees are felled using mobile chipping machines. Prospective customers: power stations, heating plants.
